Yungo active all over the world within six years

Six years ago we foresaw that there would be a huge demand for FttH engineering in the near future. Our customers already had experience with outsourcing engineering activities. All the more reason for us to join forces with two other entrepreneurs and invest in the future together; Yungo.

Prague as a hub location

Yungo was founded on September 4th, 2016. The first step to building this engineering hub was to find a location. We chose nearshoaring, and ended up in Prague. The main reasons were:

• The potential engineering quality. Prague has a University with an international Erasmus project.
• Prague is a progressive city. Although Prague has been occupied for long periods several times in its history, its inhabitants have always strived for renewal. Good examples are Jan Hus, the Prague Spring, and Vaclav Havel.
• The stable labor market. Research showed that the labor market in the Czech Republic is stable.

Yungo started out with six employees, three of whom are still employed; Pablo, Petr, and Chelsea. A proud moment for us! After finding a landing site and staff, we started looking for partners and customers. Having an investor like Allinq on board made the latter much easier.

Gaining momentum

In 2017, one year after its foundation, Yungo was voted the best startup in the Czech Republic. In 2019, the company grew to 25 employees and achieved a positive annual result. By 2020, the company grew further to 40 employees. And in 2021 Allinq acquired all shares of Yungo, making Yungo a 100% subsidiary of Allinq!

The future looks promising

Yungo currently has approximately 100 employees and customers throughout Europe and even in the United States. These are both telecom owners and construction companies. Yungo is continuously working on innovation. Not only by applying automation to the current processes but also by further expanding the portfolio. Smart Build will play a large role in Yungo’s 2023 plans. With this service, Yungo can guarantee the quality of the construction work that takes place after Yungo has supplied an FttH design. Yungo, for example, ensures that the quality is checked in near-realtime for depth, location, and progress. This way we can add even more value to our customers’ projects.
